Houston Community Land Trust (CLT) is partnering with the City of Houston and Houston Land Bank’s New Home Development Program (NHDP) to make high-quality, new construction homes available to qualified buyers for prices beginning at approximately $74,615 for a three-bedroom home. Total monthly payments for Houston CLT homes range from $785 to $1,000 depending on the number of bedrooms and financing terms. Are You Eligible to Purchase a Home?
To qualify for our program, applicants must:
Have a gross annual household income of less than 80% AMI.
Be a US citizen or permanent resident
- Attend an 8-hour HUD certified homebuyer education course and one of our HCLT orientation classes.
Be able to obtain a fixed-rate, 30-year mortgage from one of our approved lenders.
Be able to contribute at least $350 of personal funds at closing.
Maintain at least $1000 of personal funds in reserve after closing.
Be willing and able to submit all required documentation to verify eligibility.
